PMA Long Course Eligibility Criteria

Following are the general PMA Long Course Requirements to be eligible for initial application,

• Interested candidates must Pakistani citizens and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/ Gilgit-Baltistan.

• Dual Nationals can also apply for PMA Regular commission long course 148 but Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.

• Only unmarried males can apply for PMA Long Course

• Age limit of 17 to 24 years

• Minimum intermediate (60% marks) qualification is required

• Minimum Height required is 5’4” (162.5 cm)

• Weight should be as per Body Mass Index

Age Limit

Following are the age limits to Join Pak Army through PMA Long Course 148 for the year 2021,

• Age limit for Intermediate Candidates are 17-22 year with three months both in upper and lower age limits
• for Bachelor 17-23 year with three months both in upper and lower age limits
• For 4-year degree holders, the age limit is 17-24 years. (no age relaxation)
• Serving Army Soldier’s age limit is 17-25 years (no age relaxation)

Applying and Selection Procedure/Process to Join Pak Army:

Following are procedure/process for the Pakistan Military Academy LC 148,

• Candidates have to online registration through joinpakarmy.gov.pk or Register at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs)
• Initial/ Entrance Test at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (Intelligence Test, Verbal, Non-Verbal and Academic Test (Mathematics, English Physics, etc.)
• Initial Medical Test.
• After passing initial medical candidates will undergo interviews.
• Shortlisted candidates of Interviews will give ISSB Call Letters.
• ISSB Test-Interviews Recommended candidates will be considered for final selection after final medical Examination at the nearest CMH.
