The Norwegian Business School (BI) is offering fully funded Norway Bi Presidential scholarships 2024-2025 for international students. This scholarship aims to attract highly talented students from all over the world. Scholarships are awarded each year to students beginning a Master’s degree program at BI Norwegian Business School. Scholarships are awarded on merit basis and candidate must meet the minimum requirements to apply for the scholarship.
The BI Presidential scholarship covers all expenses related to pursuing a master’s degree. This includes full tuition fees, textbook expenses, visa application expenses, Student Union membership fees, as well as travel and housing costs. So this is an attractive prospect for the international students, who are interested to study in Norway. If you already hold any other scholarship in Norway then you are not eligible for this scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded for the duration of the degree program, which is two years for most programs at BI Norwegian Business School. Students need to maintain good academic performance throughout in order to continue receiving the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the BI Presidential Scholarship, applicants must:
- Candidates must have an excellent academic record, with a minimum GPA of ‘A’ on the ECTS scale or an equivalent top-level grade on international grade scales, to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Students in their third year of the Sivøk programme are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
- The scholarship is open to candidates with Norwegian citizenship or international citizenship from EU/EEA/Switzerland.
- Citizens of countries from outside the EU/EEA who are residents of Norway may also be eligible for the scholarship, depending on their residency status.
- International applicants who have moved to Norway for their bachelor’s studies and will complete a bachelor’s degree in Norway (full 180 ECTS) in the spring of the year of application are also eligible. However, international applicants with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA must not have a break in studies between the completion of their bachelor’s degree and the commencement of their master’s degree.
- The scholarship is available to candidates admitted to a Master of Science degree programme at campus Oslo or campus Bergen, with the exception of the BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing.

How To Apply
Following are the steps to apply for the scholarship,
- Scholarship applications should not be submitted via email, except for 3rd year Sivøk applicants.
- It is recommended to apply for a scholarship simultaneously with the admission application through the online portal.
- Compose a one-page scholarship application letter explaining why you should be considered for the scholarship. Academic merit, not financial need, is the primary criterion for awarding scholarships.
- Upload the scholarship application letter to the designated “Scholarship” section of the online admission application.
- Ensure that all the necessary documentation for admission to a Master of Science program is included for evaluation. The scholarship application will only be considered if a complete admission application has been submitted and accepted.
- BI students in their 3rd year of the Siviløkonom program can apply for the scholarship in the spring of their 3rd year by sending a scholarship application letter to [email protected] with the subject line: BI Presidential Scholarship Application.
- International applicants who apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship will also be automatically considered for the MSc International Scholarship. A separate scholarship application letter is not required.
