University Lucerne makes commitment to young fellow researchers to enhance academic collaboration and exchange. Goal of this program is to enable promising doctoral candidates and mid career scholars to spend an amount of time in University of Lucerne, to share research and teaching ideas with other members.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The fellowship is for PhD and postdoctoral researchers.
  • There are no restrictions on nationality or country of residence.
  • The standard term limit for postdocs is up to five years after the completion of the PhD, whereby the reference date is 1 January (i.e. applicants should not have defended before 1 January 2015).
  • Exceptions to the above are possible. They must, however, be well founded and are made at the discretion of the assessment committee.

Duration

  • The standard duration of a fellowship is between thirty and sixty days.

  • Living allowance of around 100 CHF to 150 CHF per week for the period of stay.
