INVITATION OF APPLICATIONS Youth Internship Program at National Highway Authority (NHA) with Youth Employment Program for 12,000 Interns FOR NHA YOUTH HONORARY INTERNSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM.
National Highway Authority (NHA), Ministry of Communications (MOC) invites applications from students currently undergoing their study in the Public/Private Sector Universities/institutes in the following disciplines for One-Month Internship Training on on-going projects of NHA throughout the country:

NHA Internship Disciplines:

• B.Sc/BE (Civil Engineering)
• B.Sc (Geo-Technical)
• B.Sc (Environmental Sciences)
• DAE (Civil Engineering)
• Diploma in Auto CAD
• Diploma in Lab Technology

On the completion of the internship, the successful internees will be awarded an internship completion certificate by the NHA Has.

Applications will be invited for the Youth Internship Program at National Highway Authority (NHA) with Youth Employment Program for 12,000 Internees. National Highway Authority (NHA), in line with directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has launched an internship program aimed at imparting training to educated youth in different sectors of the construction industry.

During the first year of the program, as many as 12,000 students will be imparted training in both paid and non-paid categories. Under the first phase of the program, there will be one-month non-paid internships. The second phase will consist of three-month paid training with value experience guaranteeing a job offer.

After completion of the training, all NHA firms, consultants and contractors will be bound to hire technically qualified interns for at least 12 months.

Youth Internship Program

There will be two phases of the internship program:

• Phase-I: Non-paid Internship for one month during the course of study.
• Phase-II: Paid Internship for three months at last leg of degree.

Eligibility of Youth Internship Program NHA:

The program will also be applicable to the students studying in the last year of their degree or diploma. Young students who are even their final semesters in education institutions can get an internship facility in NHA in different disciplines. Youth Employment Program

Through his program, National Highway Authority, Consultants and Contractors working with NHA will ensure that opportunities are provided to youth.

As per program ail consultants, as well as contractors, will be bound to hire technically qualified youth for at least 12 months in their setup, otherwise, they will not work with NHA. (This will be must meet qualification criteria for eligibility to get work).

National Highway Authority has got 40 ongoing projects under PSDP 2019-2020.
