It is one of the largest payment processing corporation. Till now about 40,000 students had got back of the foundation. In the upcoming year, the foundation will be awarding 60,000 scholarships. Eligibility Criteria:
- Only Candidates from African countries are eligible to apply.
- Students must have excellence in academics and should be able to demonstrate well their commitment for the betterment of their communities.
- For Undergraduate (bachelor) program:
- Age limit is 29 years old.
For Graduate (Master’s) program:
- Age limit is 30 years old.

Deadline:
Deadline for Mastercard Scholars Program for Africans is different on each participating institute or University.
Required Documents:
Each university has different list of required document so check the website of your preferred university.
- Some universities require tests like the SAT and/or TOEFL or IELTS. Africa based universities don’t require SAT or TOEFL scores.
- References
- Recommendation letters (maybe online submission)
If someone is unable to pay the admission fee :
- Universities can also help you out in this just you need to get letter from your counselor or principal assuring that you’re high achiever or they have confidence in your academic achievement.
- Through Education USA, students can also get the financial support to pay their fee of SAT or TOEFL.
In some cases, the university to which you are applying may be able to assist with the completion of tests. If you are confident that you can fulfill the requirements of the SAT and TOEFL, ask your counsellor or principal to provide you with a letter of support or similar documentation that expresses their confidence in your academic achievements. Share your story and your letters of support with the admissions office of the university to which you are applying.
