Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program
Another opportunity in France to gain world class higher education from the European country. The government of France announced multiple scholarships opportunities. Applications are invited for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program 2025. Campus France’s Eiffel excellence scholarships Program is for international students who are interested in studying in French institutions in Masters and PhD programs on Scholarships, Every year government of France gives numerous scholarships opportunities.
Last year Ministry of Europe and Foreign affairs awarded 347 scholarships. These opportunities are fully funded and the best part is that these scholarships are not bound to any specific Program or field, applicants can choose the program of their own choice and then apply to it. No application or registration fees can hinder the progress of the applicant. France campus is a public institute that is involved in the higher education progress. This year French government introduce more than 500 scholarships and age varies from degree to degree of the applicant.

Scholarship Duration
Duration of the scholarship is as follows,
Master’s level
- a maximum of 12 months when enrolling in an M2
- a maximum of 24 months when enrolling in an M1
- a maximum of 36 months for the completion of an engineering degree
PhD Level
The Eiffel scholarship is awarded for a period of 12 months in France.

The last date to apply for the France Government’s Eiffel Excellence scholarship is 10th January 2024.
Timeline for the scholarships:
- Application Initiation: Week of September 2024
- Deadline of receiving of applications: January 8, 2025.
- Publication of results: 1st week of April, 2025
Requirements
Following are the requirements to apply for Eifel Excellence Scholarship,
- All international students are eligible to apply for Eifel Scholarships
- applicants with more than 25 for masters and 30 for PhD are not eligible for it
- Many universities will accept applications without IELTS and TOEFL.
- Applicants who have already received Eiffel Excellence scholarship are not eligible

Step 1
- Contact Campus France in your country of origin or the French Embassy’s Cooperation and Cultural Action Department, who can guide you and advise you on your study plans.
- To learn about the procedures and deadlines for submitting an application, contact the international relations department of a French institution via its website, by e-mail or by telephone.
- It’s up to you to choose the school or university that best fits your plans for studying in France.
Step 2
- The institution accepts and supports your application for the Eiffel scholarship
- The institution submits your application online via the dedicated Campus France website

I have BA degree in Geography and environmental studies at Mizan-Tepi university in Ethiopia. And also I have done my MSc degree in Climate change and sustainable development having CGPA of 3.75 and conducted and successfully complicated my thesis paper with grade ‘A’ on the title of”‘Climate smart agriculture adoption by smallholder farmers and it’s determine factors” in case of sankura district.
