Government of Russia Scholarships 2024| Open Door Olympiad

An excellent opportunity for the high intellect and bright students as Russian Government scholarships announced multiple opportunities for the young and talented minds. Applications are invited for the Russian Government’s Open Door Olympiad 2024 this time. And this program has been started by the Russian government with an association of universities 5 years ago. Olympiad is a competition which is held by Russian universities. The basic purpose of the Russian government is to bring young, fresh, and talented minds under the roof of the Olympiad. Open door scholarship is giving golden chance to the Olympiad winners to choose from any Russian universities which are approx. 500 in numbers and pursue their bright careers. These 500 universities also have leading universities’ participants whose projects ranked under the top 100 projects. 

These scholarships are for masters and Ph.D. students and this year Olympiad aims to select 14 subjects of science in which projects will be done via research.. Applicants who have the guts and desire to study free in Russia are encouraged to apply in it. Last time Ph.D. students were asked to apply only in 6 fields but this time Ph.D. program is offered in all fields. Applicants who want selection in Russian scholarships must have to go through the Russian Olympiad selection process. Applicant should be in top rankings in Olympiad for the free scholarships in Russia

For master’s programs, the Open door Olympiad has two rounds, and for Ph.D. Olympiad has three competitive rounds. In all rounds, applicants should be participating and qualify for the fully funded scholarship in Russia. Two rounds for the master’s students and 3 rounds for the Ph.D. applicants in order to pursue the recruitment of scholarships on merit.

Eligibility Criteria:

• If you are already selected for the scholarship program you are not eligible this time
• All international students can apply for masters and Ph.D. program
• Applicants should be graduates of the master’s program and have a degree of masters for eligibility for a Ph.D. Program.
• Males and females both can apply
• No gender, race, color, or ethnicity discrimination in any university}
• Applicant must have English proficiency or Russian proficiency.

How to Apply:

• There are two rounds for  each Olympiad program
• There is an extra one round for the Ph.D. program

Application Round:

• The first round will be held online from September 15 to December 10, 2023
• Applicants need to apply by clicking on ‘ Participant’ and then start the round after registration
• First-round consists of the portfolio filing which includes preparation of a well-structured portfolio with all necessary documents like Certificates, awards, honors, and research papers ], also include achievement in your portfolio.
• The same portfolio can be used in the application of different subjects
• Submission of the portfolio before the deadline is mandatory
• For round 2 successful candidates will receive the email in which further instructions will be given.

• Applicants can apply in more than one subject but the application of the subject will be separate.
• All the documents should be Russian translated and the applicant should be an Olympiad winner or any prize winner in all these rounds.
