Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme For Pakistani Female By British Council

Good news for Pakistan females students as applications are now open for Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2023. Funded by the Scottish Government and organized by British Council Pakistan, its a fully funded scholarship opportunity for Pakistani female students who want to further study there education. Scholarship is available for Bachelors, Masters and PhD degree programs.

Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme offers full scholarships to female students who want to study Bachelors, Masters or PhD programs in any institute recognized by HEC. Purpose of this scholarships is to make higher education accessible to women and help them reach their full potential in academic fields. British Council will be coordinating with selected scholars and universities.

There is no age limit to apply for this Scottish Scholarship for Pakistani females. Duration is the scholarship for Bachelors is 4 years and for Masters/M.Phil scholarship duration is 2 years. Also apply for Sister2Sister Exchange Program in USA, its a exchange program through which Pakistani female students can study in USA.

Available Fields

Students studying in any of the following fields will be considered for the scholarship, Fields for Bachelors and Masters are same except STEM fields available in Masters degree,

• Education
• Sustainable Energy
• Food Security and Agriculture
• Health Sciences (Medical Sciences are not included)
• STEM Engineering (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) (For Masters/M.Phil.)

Eligibility Criteria

• Pakistani females who are currently residing in Pakistan
• Maximum scholarship duration is 2 years for Masters program and 4 years for bachelors program.
• Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC recognized university in Pakistan
• You are enrolled in any HEC recognized university in one of the available fields of study.

Scholarship Coverage

• Full tuition fee coverage
• Hostel Expenses
• Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus hostels

Documents Required.

Following documents are required to apply for this Scottish Government Scholarship For Pakistani students,

• A duly filled out application form 
• Scanned copy of CNIC or Form-B
• CNIC copy of parents
• Scanned copy of transcripts
• Proof of admission and/or enrolment
• Copy of tuition fee schedule for the programme you are pursuing
• Result sheet of most recently completed degree,
• Parent salary slip or any proof of income
