Portugal Government Scholarship 2026 – Complete Application Guide

The scholarship is funded by NextGenerationEU program, which is organized by European Commission. Eligibility and Requirements:

  • The program is open to students from all nations
  • For Undergraduate scholarship they must have complete secondary school education
  • For Master scholarship, bachelor degree is required to apply.
  • Master’s degree is required to apply for PhD scholarship.
  • The total annual household income must be less than €11,049.89
  • The household’s movable assets must be less than €115,303.20
  • For working students and students with occasional income earned during vacation periods, the total income limit is R$12,569.89.
  • Special Conditions in Humanitarian Emergency Situations are not subject to minimum annual income requirements, like students from Ukraine and Afghanistan. In these cases, students may be entitled to the maximum scholarship amount, which is R$5,981.73.
