Eligibility Criteria
- Students enrolled in Mathematics and Applications at the University of Paris-Saclay or the Institut Polytechnique de Paris are eligible for this scholarship
- Students need to get admission first then they can be considered for the scholarship.
- Scholarship is merit based and will be granted on many factors like academic transcripts, letter of references
- Applicants must full-fill all the application requirements of their respective programs at the Université Paris-Saclay or Institut Polytechnique de Paris websites.
- Late applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Benefits:
Following are the scholarship benefit student will receive upon selection,
- €11,000 of scholarship amount per year.
- €500 for one year to cover university registration fees.
- €2,000 per year to cover the cost of one round trip per year, plus visa fees.
- International student will get accommodation in the form of studio rooms in one of the halls of residence close to their place of enrolment.
- You cannot receive this scholarship if you are receiving any other scholarship.
- All scholarship recipients meet up at the annual Master’s Days organized by the FMJH, an opportunity for them to get to know each other and learn about mathematical research on the Paris-Saclay campus.
- The FMJH also supports the “Mathematics and Applications” master’s program by financing a number of specialized courses (generally taught by researchers from organizations such as INRAE, CNRS or Inria) through its thematic programs.

How To Apply Sophie Germain program
There are two call for application each year. For first call (from October to January) for new incoming international students.
