- For undergraduate applicant must have a high secondary school degree for undergraduate
- For masters applicants must holder of a undergradiate program
- For Doctorate program applicants must have a masters degree from a recognized university
- English Proficiency Certificate is required for international students. For English speaking countries it is not necessary.

This is for international students who got admission at University of Saskatchewan. This award is based on academic achievement, students who got admission will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

International students who completed International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

For high caliber students with brilliant academic records who are registering for the first time in thesis or dissertation based graduate programs.
- Scholarship value for Masters is $18,000 per year for two years.

Open for new and continuing graduate students. This award is available in selected departments. Departments nominate suitable candidates for this scholarship.

3) Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship
This is a fully funded scholarship for world-class doctoral students. For VCGs you cannot apply directly but the university you have applied to, have to nominate you for this scholarship.

4) Graduate Teaching Fellowships
Graduate Students who are studying in full time programs can apply for Graduate Teaching Fellowships. Fellows are required to work up to 12 hours per week.
