    To be eligible for this fully funded scholarships You must hold an offer for one of the following courses to study at the University of Sheffield,

    • International Development MA
    • Environmental Change and International Development MSc
    • International Development (Masters in Public Health) MPH
    • International Law and Global Justice LLM (a selected pathway of the Sheffield LLM course)
    • International Political Economy MA
    • Global Journalism MA
    • International Public and Political Communication MA

    Scholarship benefits:

    Three scholarships are offered to high-achieving students from developing nations. Each award includes the following benefits:

    • A full tuition fee waiver
    • Maintenance for University accommodation
    • A £12,500 maintenance stipend

    Eligibility criteria

    You have to meet the following requirements to apply for this scholarship,

    • You must have overseas fee status.
    • You must be self-financed (not sponsored by a government, research council, company, or other organization).
    • You cannot combine this scholarship with any other funding, whether from the University of Sheffield or elsewhere.
    • You must enroll as a full-time student.
    • You must not have studied abroad before (outside your home country).
    • You must start your program in 2025, deferral is not permitted.
    • You must meet all offer conditions by the given deadline to retain the scholarship.
    • You must secure a valid student visa for September entry to receive the award.
    • You must be a national of, or permanently domiciled, in one of the following countries or territories.

    How to Apply:

    Your course application will be assessed by a panel of academic judges to decide whether you will progress to the final stage of the application process.

    Postgraduate taught Masters degree programmes at the University of Sheffield begin in September each year. There is no January or February intake.
