Western University Sydney Scholarships in Australia

If you’re planning to pursue a fully funded research degree in Australia, the Western Sydney University Scholarship for International Students 2026 is one opportunity you shouldn’t overlook. Western Sydney University offers a range of Higher Degree Research (HDR) scholarships that are released periodically, with each round having its own deadlines, eligibility requirements, and conditions. For the Quarter 3 (Q3) 2026 intake, applications are open for a limited time and selection is highly competitive, so submitting a complete and accurate application is essential.

This scholarship round officially opened on 1 April 2026 and will close at 5:00 PM (AEST) on 30 April 2026. Candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) before being invited to lodge a full application—important to note that the EOI alone is not assessed. Successful applicants will begin their research journey on 22 June 2026, and only complete applications submitted before the deadline will be considered. Incomplete submissions or missing documents can result in disqualification, given the high volume of applications received each round.
