Eligibility Criteria:

Following are the requirements to apply at Yokohama National University for graduate studies,

• International applicants outside of Japan can apply
• Applicants with brilliant academic records
• Previous education documents required to apply
• Applicants applying for Masters must have brilliant academic record in undergraduate.
• Applicants applying for PhD must have brilliant academic record in undergraduates and Masters.
• English Language Proficiency certificate is required (IELTS or TOEFL)

Japan Government Scholarship (MEXT)

MEXT is Fully funded scholarship by the Government of Japan. Students from countries which has Japanese embassy are eligible to apply. Under MEXT scholarship all expenses are covered. There are two routes of applying for MEXT scholarship, Embassy route and University route. University route of applying for MEXT scholarship is only for Research students.
