Underwood International College (UIC)

Yonsei University’s flagship international program and Korea’s first English language liberal arts college is Underwood International College. Its 2,500 students from 66 countries are educated by 112 distinguished international and Korean scholars. The goal of UIC is to bring together a diverse group of students from around the globe while also providing them with a multidisciplinary education that emphasises critical and creative thinking, global leadership, and democratic citizenship. Yonsei University’s regular undergraduate degree program provides an exceptional educational environment for educating society’s future leaders. Yonsei University’s Sinchon campus launched Korea’s first winter programs for international students who want to spend the winter in Seoul. Eligibility & Requirements

The following are the eligibility requirements for applying to the Yonsei University,

  • Students must take at least 12 credits per semester and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • 100% tuition waiver for 4 years (including admission fees) for students in the top 20% in terms of entrance exams.
  • Tuition is waived for two years (Including admission fee) Students who scored in the top 30% on entrance exams
  • Exchange students from a university with which Mirae Campus has a student exchange agreement
  • Students who have been recommended for a position as a laboratory assistant and have a GPA of 2.50 or higher from the previous semester
  • TOEFL(CBT) score of 270 or higher/ TOEIC score of 940 or higher in the previous semester and a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
