Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship 2023-2024

Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship

Are you a willing student ready to embark on your journey towards a new future and build a brave space? You’ve come in the right direction. A living tribute to the former prime minister, the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is an independent, non-partisan charity that was founded in 2001. There is much more to the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation than just scholarships. They serve as a springboard for daring, cutting-edge Ph.D. scholars to develop into Engaged Leaders who make a real difference in their institutions and communities.

This three-year leadership program aims to develop active leaders by giving exceptional Ph.D. candidates the tools they need to put their ideas into practice for the benefit of their communities, Canada, and the rest of the globe. Each year, up to 16 doctorate scholars are chosen, receiving considerable financing for their education as well as leadership development within the context of Brave Spaces. Scholars gain leadership skills by venturing beyond their comfort zone by dealing with people who have different viewpoints and backgrounds.

In addition to generously funding the doctorate studies of excellent Scholars, we also support the growth of future Engaged Leaders who will pave the way for innovative ideas while breaking new ground in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
