SBW Berlin Scholarship 2025 for International Students

International students can now apply for the SBW Berlin Scholarship in Germany.  The SBW scholarships provide financial assistance to young people from low-income families so they can use their education in Germany to advance long-term nonprofit projects, preferably back home. Scholarships are awarded Based on the student’s academic credentials, personal qualities, and social requirements. Scholarships are available for international students to study in Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at institutes in Berlin and Potsdam. In general, all scientific and artistic disciplines are available under the scholarship.

The SBW Berlin Scholarship Program stipulates that students’ stays must be restricted to the time necessary for their academic pursuits. This scholarship is given by SBW Berlin in the form of a loan that must be repaid when the funding period has ended.   • Students from EU and EEA nations who worked in Germany prior to continuing their education in a job that was connected to their studies.

Application Requirements

Those who wish to apply for the SBW Berlin scholarship must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 30.
  • The average scores are at least 2.0 weighted averages in German.
  • Able to provide documentation demonstrating that they did not reside in Germany for more than 18 months before to applying.
  • There are no first-degree relatives live there permanently.
  • Plan to spend at least 18 months working in their home country following graduation.

Deadline

Each year, the deadlines for applications are set for May 15 through June 30 and November 15 through December 31.
