Eligibility Criteria For Nomination
For first time students intends to apply for Ontario Trillium Scholarship check the following general requirements,
- International applicants are eligible to apply
- Applicants who are pursuing PhD studies at any of the institutes in Ontario.
- Applicants must not be studying at undergraduate or graduate level at universities in Ontario.
- Must have excellent academic achievements at least 80% score.
- Applicants have to fulfill the university and program requirements for admission.

Eligibility For Renewal of Award
- Scholarship is renewable for 4 years
- Applicant must remain in PhD studies at Ontario Universities for the complete duration of the program.
- You must not concurrently hold a Tri-Council award, an OGS or an QEIIGSST.
- Scholarship renewal depends on satisfactory progress and continued first-class standing in the program.
- If the recipient become of permanent resident during the tenure of award he/she can continue to hold the OTS.
