1) Uppsala University Global Scholarship
Each year, Uppsala University offers a number of scholarships to eligible prospective fee-paying international students who are applying for Master’s programmes at Uppsala University. Students from non-EU/EEA nations who are applying to one of Uppsala University’s Master’s programmes are given special consideration for the Uppsala University Global Scholarships. The scholarships are only eligible for on-campus programmes based in Uppsala or on Gotland, and for programmes mainly taught at Uppsala University. Scholarships are only available for programmes that you may apply through universityadmissions.se. The Master’s programmes in Implementation, Transformative Learning and Sustainability, Religion in Peace and Conflict, Turkic Studies, Biology Genetic and Molecular Plant Science, Biology NABiS Nordic Master in Biodiversity and Systematics, or the Joint Nordic Master’s Programme in Environmental Law, however, are not eligible for scholarships.

- You must be a citizen of a nation that is not a member of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland.
- You must possess academic aptitude and a desire to work in education.
- As a first priority, Uppsala University Global Scholarships are only available for its Master’s programmes (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programme you can choose at University Admissions).
- You must have submitted an application for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
- You must fulfil the requirements for the Master’s programme you are applying for.
- University Admissions must receive your application fee and any supporting documentation, before deadline.
2) Anders Wall’s Scholarship
The Anders Wall Foundation is a renowned institution that grants undergraduate and graduate scholarships to people from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Tunisia, and Uganda so they can get the best education possible in their field. Students from the specific countries, who demonstrate academic excellence, talent, and merit, will receive awards from the Anders Wall Scholarship Foundation at Uppsala University in Sweden. This scholarship encourages applicants to enroll in one of the undergraduate or graduate programmes indicated for the 2024–2025 academic year, which begins on August 28, 2024, in order to be eligible for a tuition fee waiver in Sweden.

- You must meet the entry requirements for the programme you applied to. You must submit all required supporting documentation together with your application fee to University Admissions prior to the deadline.
3) The King Carl Gustaf Scholarship
Students who reside in hazardous and unsafe environments in places impacted by armed conflict or natural catastrophes are the target audience for the King Carl Gustaf Scholarship. The complete cost of tuition for studies at Uppsala University will be covered by the scholarships. It is for Master’s programmes being offered during the current admissions round that begin on August 28, 2023. Living expenses are not covered by the scholarships.
