Cooke Foundation Scholarships:

Following scholarships are offered by Jack Kent Cooke Foundation,

1) Young Scholars Program

This scholarship is for financially unstable and highly performing students who are in their 7th grade. This scholarship duration is of five years. Students will be engage in Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships and some other beneficial opportunities. Counselors will be helping students to get into top notch colleges.

Eligibility criteria

  • Currently studying in 7th grade or entering 8th grade
  • From 6th grade, all As and Bs in major subjects
  • Demonstrate that you’re financially unstable. Family income should be up to $95,000
  • Living in US or planning to seek admission in US

Benefits

  • Funds for academic programs and enrichment opportunities like art lessons, music, supplemental academic classes and technology.
  • Year-round Young Scholars community programming
  • Annual summer programs that include two Young Scholar programs.

2) College Scholarship Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s College Scholarship program is for the brilliant students who have got high grades in high school and now wishing to get into world class colleges and universities for four years degree. The students whose families are financially not much stable are only applicable for this scholarship program. The awards that are provided by this scholarship vary depending upon the tuition fee or the particular scholarship they are granted.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply to the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program you must have:

  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Minimum score of 1200 in SAT or minimum score of 26 in ACT
  • Students whose family income is up to $95,000 will only be considered
  • Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2016

Benefits:

  • $55,000 will be given yearly to attend your four-year undergraduate institution.
  • You will be able to pursue any field.
  • An advisor will be provided to help you out in selecting college and how to use financial aid.
  • Advising on how you can transition to college for best experience.

3) Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is for highly performing students from top notch colleges who are planning to get their bachelor’s degree at four year colleges or universities. The duration of scholarship is for two to three years.  The students will get support, advising and chance to meet the community of great people.

  • Unmet financial needs
  • Excellent results

Benefits:

  • Many awards are worth up to $55,000

    • Personal advising about selecting a college and navigating financial aid

  • Application period for Young Scholars Program is from 6th February 2025 to April 30, 2025.
  • Application opens from 22th August 2024 and November 14, 2024 is the deadline for College Scholarship Program
